Trustee - Treasurer

Beth joined the board of LeithLate in 2020 after living in Leith for 5 years. Beth is all about the arts having trained and worked in the sector, she has experience of working for funding bodies, grassroots organisations and national institutions plus lots of voluntary work for various organisations. Beth currently works at the National Galleries of Scotland in the Finance department and the Learning & Engagement department and enjoys the challenges of blending two separate directorates within the same organisation. Beth believes in making art accessible to all and is delighted to be volunteering for an organisation with the same values.

Trustee

Joette moved to Leith, from Detroit, in 1994, with two suitcases and wishful thinking. She is passionate about the community that Leith is, its history – and what a place like Leith can be in the 21st century. Joette remembers how amazed she was when Leith Late arrived on the scene – and has been an enthusiastic supporter since the beginning. Joette is an organisational consultant, working primarily with charities and the public sector, and is delighted to have the opportunity to share what she knows about charity governance and operations in the interest of sustaining Leith Late well into the future.
